Our Vision
As a family-owned, independent veterinary clinic, we strive to promote a strong interconnected community of veterinarians, pet-and-livestock related industries and pet-and-livestock owners who work collaboratively and with integrity to support the health and welfare of the pets, horses and livestock across the Central Vancouver Island region.
Our Values
May the actions of our staff speak louder than any words that could be written here.
The collage at the top of this page is made up of photos taken at the time of, and while travelling between, appointments. This represents but a fraction of the many communities in the Central Vancouver Island region that we have travelled to, the pet-and-livestock owners we have assisted, and the animals we have worked with.
Our Story
WVS officially opened its doors in the spring of 2011. The rest is history!
The Centre for Coastal Health Legacy
The Centre for Coastal Health (CCH) officially closed its doors in 2025, after nearly 30 years working as a non-profit consulting agency at the forefront of veterinary epidemiology, public health and one health. I had the privilege of being part of this legacy, starting in 2005 as a summer student, and continuing after graduation from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.
Please link to CCH Projects page to see some of the work I participated in while at the CCH.
